ABOUT CHILDREN HELPING CHILDREN:
Each year, Children Helping Children organizes a benefit concert with performances by accomplished and gifted children. Our goal is to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives through music. We have raised over $75,000 over the last five years to help fund research and hospital care with the ultimate goal of helping children. In 2020, we partnered with the New York Presbyterian Children’s Hospital, and, in 2021, we took a more global perspective and partnered up with the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to support their mission of ensuring that no child suffers needlessly. In 2022, CHC partnered with a local non-profit organization, Abilis, which provides services and support for individuals with special needs. Last year, we collaborated with Project Music, Inc and the fund we raised allowed them to start a choir program for under-served communities.
All donations, no matter the size, can make a difference. Your gift means so much to not just us but so many others who are impacted by NewYork-Presbyterian’s Center for Autism and the Developing Brain (CADB) as they continue to provide exceptional care through its creativity and collaboration for its patients.
Thank you for your support.

Dear Friends, Family, and Future Supporters of Children Helping Children,
Emma Maini, Co-Founder
Executive Director
Ayush Maini, Co-Founder
My name is Emma Maini and I’m a tenth-grader at Rye Country Day. In 2019, my brother, Ayush Maini, and I co founded an annual benefit called Children Helping Children, deciding to use our music talents to help others.
This year, I’m working closely with my friend, Ewan MacLennan, and we chose the NewYork-Presbyterian’s Autism Center as our recipient. This institution is highly regarded for its holistic, family-centered approach.
On September 15, a dedicated group of young musicians will come together, blending their love for music with their commitment to helping children in need around the world. By using their musical talents, they aim to raise crucial funds for this cause. Even if you can't attend, you can still get involved by watching our live stream on YouTube, with the link provided on our website. Whether you join us online or in person, we encourage you to be part of this meaningful endeavor.
By coming together, we can build inclusive communities where every individual, regardless of their abilities, can actively engage and make meaningful contributions. We are deeply grateful for your commitment to this vision.
Sincerely,
Emma and Ayush Maini
Ewan MacLennan, Director
My name is Ewan MacLennan. I am a senior at Greenwich High School. I have long been inspired by the tremendous impact that young musicians can have on real world problems through organizations like Children Helping Children, which I been a part of since 2020 and am now proud to serve as its Director.
For this year's concert, Children Helping Children decided to offer our support to a prestigious organization in an area in the field of mental health that has personal meaning to me, the NewYork-Presbyterian’s Center for Autism and the Developing Brain (CADB). Living with a family member who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and witnessing the profound challenges it presents has motivated me to support initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of individuals and families affected by this condition. In the U.S., about 1 in 36 children have been diagnosed with ASD. Despite being the fastest growing mental disorder, autism research remains severely underfunded.
The CADB supports hundreds of children each year, utilizing their multidisciplinary team to improve the overall development of children with ASD. The CADB is renowned for its work in advancing our understanding and treatment of ASD, making it a deserving recipient of this year’s CHC donation to an organization making a significant contribution to the health and wellbeing of children.
My own experience has shown me that autism not only affects the diagnosed individual, but their community as well. To be able to continue to carry out their mission of helping to ease the challenges of managing autism, the CADB needs the help of everyone in the communities it serves. We are grateful to have this opportunity to support the CADB in a small way, and we invite you to join us by making a personal contribution. Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you,
Ewan MacLennan
